Lucky us! We were commissioned by an imaginative client, to design and install a hopscotch in the driveway of their new home on Kal Lake. Now that is an inspiring idea! To the terms "beautiful functional art" often used to describe our cut tile murals, we now add FUN!

The space required was left when pouring the driveway and while the snow still dusted the drive, we started designing. The photos above describe the various stages we have completed thus far.

We chose a frost free porcelain to endure anything the Okanagan weather might present. The durability of this tile certainly put all of our tools to the test; it is "hard as nails" to put it mildly! The colours blend with the exquisite new home and offer good colour and contrast to create a playful design.
